Neat concept and quite well executed!  Enjoy! The guy with the beard on the end looks a little bored throughout, but he does some nice harmonies.  The first time I played this, it startled me when the guy in the middle started to sing. If you've ever had a kitten, you'll appreciate this one. When they're young, cats are so full of manic energy that their every waking moment is like some sort of madcap ballet, which makes the choice of music here so appropriate. Like I've mentioned a time or two now, I've just taken space in a second store, YesterNook, which is located in the historic Germantown/Schnitzelburg area of Louisville, not too terribly far from my house. While it has been a largely score-less summer, I have had a couple of decent buys.  At one church sale, I got a stack of 16 DVD's for 8 dollars, or 50 cents each.  I like to sell DVD's but I use them as a draw to get people into the booth, kind of like a loss leader, except that I don't actually lose money on them.  I can't afford to do that, so I sell my DVD's at the bargain bottom price of .99

I do love me some Iris!  She's got one of those unique voices that either draws you in or repels you, but I can't get enough of it.  She's a ball to see live.  She's got a really dry sense of humor that I just love.  Her songwriting is simple, but vivid; the imagery in this song is a good example.  It's just so sweet and endearing. Well, so much for good intentions, I guess. Last week got eaten by the booth.  In a good way, mind you, but it didn't leave any time for anything else.  What I thought would be a two day job turned into three and a half, but it was worth the work.  The place looks great!  The Christmas stuff is gone away to storage until next year, except for a few vintage items, which will stay in the booth.

I'm baaaaaaack!  Didja miss me? This damn cold is finally going away and I'm starting to feel kind of normal again, so it's time to get going.  After all, it's a new year! I've spent most of the last few days in bed, but did manage to get out to the New Year's Flea Market Spectacular.  There are a couple of regular dealers there where I get supplies for my booth, and I needed a few things.
